I'm a couple of hours away from heading down to Los Angeles, where I'll meet up with my friend (and fellow RD) Ken Getz. We're both heading down to San Diego on Saturday.
At the last possible moment, the stars have aligned, my hardware stopped freaking and suddenly I'm successfully communicating between a VPC running Windows Server 2003 with SQL Server and a VPC running Red Hat Fedora with Oracle 10g. I happened to be on the phone with Steve Forte at the moment it worked. Guess I'll leave my tap shoes at home.
Fellow Canadian (and another RD) John Bristowe has a brilliant explanation on Tech Ed Survival.
And Cory Isakson has a list of Tech Ed parties.
